Homework Policy
• Homework will be assigned at a minimum of two to three nights per week. Homework is checked for completion, accuracy, and understanding of the concepts presented.
• Late work – you have one extra day to turn work in with the highest grade being a 75. After that I will not take the work.
• If you are absent make sure you check the folder on the wall for missing assignments and notes
Tardy Policy
• Refer to the student handbook
• Clarification on what a tardy is:
– When the bell rings you are in your seat ready to work
– Not at the door, not coming through the door or just making it to your seat
Policy on Cheating
•Cheating is never appropriate and includes:
• Copying homework from others.
• Passing off other’s work as your own.
• Forging a signature.
• Taking answers from others, giving answers to others.
•Consequences:
• Receive a “0” on the test or assignment.
• Notify parents
•Repeated cheating may also result in the following consequence:
• Receive an “F” for that class at the 6 weeks grade and possible semester
•Notify parents
Academic Honesty
• The academic honesty policy of the district will be adhered to for this course.
• Plagiarism – using someone else’s work and claiming it for your own.
• Extra Help: I am available every morning from 7:00 am to the start of school, except the day I have duty.
• Final Exam: There is a final exam at the end of each semester, which is worth 25% of your grade.
